Questions about child protection
Organisations offering child-protection training or review are welcome to contact us.
Building a real child-protection capability, not only awareness: an approved policy, a trained focal person, staff briefing and a clear reporting procedure. Adults carry the responsibility.
We are developing the Institute’s child-protection arrangements so that staff understand their responsibilities and families know how concerns should be raised. The work combines an approved policy, a designated focal person, relevant training and a clear reporting procedure.
Protecting children requires clear adult responsibilities, appropriate supervision and a response when a concern is raised. Awareness sessions support children, but responsibility for protection remains with adults and the institution.
Our recent teacher workshop set a direction towards patient correction, respectful language and discipline without hitting. This work connects that direction to approved staff expectations and a practical reporting process.
Until the designated focal person is in place, please contact the school office for any concern. A dedicated private reporting route will be published here once it is operational.
