Safeguarding & privacy
How we protect children’s dignity, safety and information — and how to raise a concern.
Our intended standard
Every child should be treated with dignity. Our programme principles require consent, a safeguarding procedure and a named responsible adult before activities involving children proceed. We are developing the policies, training and reporting arrangements needed to put those principles into practice. Progress is reported on our child protection programme page.
Raising a concern
Until our designated child-protection contact and private reporting route are in place, please contact the school office by phone for any concern. This page will be updated with the named contact, an alternative route and how concerns are handled as soon as they are operational.
Consent and programme participation
Families receive a clear explanation of each activity, its supervision and any information collected before deciding. Children receive an age-appropriate explanation and are listened to when they raise discomfort or concerns.
Photographs, stories and media
Consent to take part and consent to appear in publicity are collected separately. Health stories and protection concerns are handled with particular care so that no private experience or identifying detail is exposed.
Learning information
Student learning profiles are available only to authorised staff for an agreed educational purpose. Public reports use anonymised findings. Named student data is never published or shared with funders.
